Solana blockchain integrates ChatGPT plugin

On Tuesday, the Solana Foundation announced that they have developed an open-source reference implementation that gives users the ability to interact with the Solana network directly from ChatGPT. This implementation includes a handy plugin that is now available for download on Github.

AI makes Solana more understandable and accessible

“This Solana Labs integration serves as a model example of how AI facilitates understanding of Solana data and protocols. In addition, AI facilitates the disclosure of information about Solana’s computing infrastructure and DeFi projects. The accompanying plugin opens up various possibilities such as buying NFTs, token transfer, interpreting public account data and discovering NFT collections based on bottom price.” According to the Solana Foundation.

According to Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana and CEO of Solana Labs, Artificial Intellegence will make the Solana blockchain more practical and accessible.

It is essential for any developer developing consumer-facing apps to pay attention to how their app interacts with AI models. This platform offers a new possibility to instruct computers about the desired tasks and functionalities.

Solana’s activity skyrockets

Solana has experienced a notable increase in activity this month, according to data from The Block. This is because higher rates on Ethereum and Bitcoin have some users looking at alternatives. The seven-day moving average of new addresses on the Solana network reached an impressive 323,000 last week. This is the highest number since June 2022.

Available data shows that Solana attracted more new addresses this month than in the past six months.

Solana’s SOL, which took a significant drop last year during the collapse of the FTX crypto exchange, has since shown an impressive recovery. On a year-over-year basis, the token is up 101%. On Tuesday, it even rose 2.6% to a price of $20.03.
