Sofía Vergara’s $1M Closet Needs Reorganization: Pleads for Organizer’s Return

Even with a closet bursting with top designer brands, managing a high-fashion collection can be a challenge. Just ask Sofía Vergara, whose wardrobe could easily be mistaken for a chic Rodeo Drive boutique. Think countless $10,000 handbags and enough sky-high platform heels to stage a fashion show.

It’s been almost two years since Beverly Hills professional organizer Linda Koopersmith worked her magic on Vergara’s clothing collection. Now, the 53-year-old actress, known for her role in "Griselda," is practically begging Koopersmith to return. It seems her dream closet needs another wave of that organizational wand.

Koopersmith recently shared an Instagram video, calling it a "timeless moment revisited, thanks @archdigest for the memories💫." The video proudly showed off the neat, color-coordinated result of her hard work. Vergara loved it then, reposting it on her Instagram Stories on Friday, October 10. She wrote, "You made my dream closet come true. I love you."

Not long after, Vergara shared another post, hinting at her current predicament. "You have to come back! Now it looks a little different @beverlyhillsorganizer," she wrote, adding several laughing emojis. It’s clear her closet is craving a professional refresh.

During a February 2024 interview with Architectural Digest, Vergara offered a tour of her stunning Los Angeles home. She playfully joked that her closet is "actually where I really live." The "Modern Family" star talked about her efforts to keep it tidy. "I try to keep it as organized as you see it, but sometimes it’s hard. You know how girls are," she shared.

Vergara purchased the $26 million mansion in 2020 while married to Joe Manganiello. The couple announced their split in July 2023, after seven years of marriage. Manganiello, 48, filed for divorce just days later. Their April 2024 settlement agreement stated that Vergara and Manganiello would keep their personal items, including jewelry, clothing, and other personal effects.

In that "Architectural Digest" feature, Vergara was in her element, proudly showing off her couture pieces. Her closet was a treasure trove of high-end items, from Chanel and Gucci to Prada and Chloé, with a total value estimated at $1 million.

One thing she especially loved about the organized setup was having her handbags visible, making it easy to pick one out. Before, they were often just piled up in her old home. The central island in her closet held perfumes, along with lovely glass decor from an antique shop. There was also a meaningful black-and-white photo of her late brother, Rafael, and her "favorite cousin" from their baby days. The brunette star also showed off an old modeling photo, joking that it was from when she was "young and fresh."

Koopersmith herself expressed how thrilled she was by the honor of organizing Vergara’s closet. In a February 2024 Instagram post, she wrote, "Designing is my passion and my love. I adore every aspect, from custom closet design to complete home renovations and new constructions." She continued, "This ‘jewel’ I designed for @sofiavergara. When I got the call from AD to include it in this month’s issue, featuring Sofía’s gorgeous home, it was one of the most exciting moments of my career. A very special thank you to Sofía and all my clients who trust in my ability to ‘make everything fit!’" Koopersmith’s pride is clear, and it seems Vergara’s closet is a testament to her skill, even if it now needs another round of magic.
