Colombian actress Sofía Vergara gives life to “the godmother of cocaine”, Griselda Blanco on the Netflix miniseries “Griselda”.
The famous actress, known in the American market thanks to the series “Modern Family”, shared an image taken during the first week of recording.
“Griselda Week 1! This has been a passion project of mine for many years! This production will delve into the life of Blanco, who in the 1970s became the queen of illegal drug trafficking between Colombia and the United States.
Known as “The Black Widow” or “The Godmother of Cocaine”, she headed an illegal empire until she was murdered in 2012, in Medellín, at the age of 69.
