Smriti Irani, the well-known actress and politician, recently shared some thoughts about movies and the magic behind the scenes. On a Monday social media post, she posted two special pictures. She gave a big thumbs-up to Brad Pitt’s new film, “F1.”
The movie “F1” really captured her attention. Smriti told everyone to watch it, especially if they enjoy stories about underdogs. She said it’s for people who like to see characters go from defeat to victory. In fact, she loved it so much she watched it twice!
“F1” was directed by Joseph Kosinski. Brad Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a racing driver. His character comes back to Formula One racing after 30 years. He tries to save his old team, which is struggling. The movie also features talented actors like Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem.
Beyond just recommending the film, Smriti took a moment to praise cinematographer Deepak Malvankar. She shared an old photo from her time on the TV show “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.” In the picture, she’s in her famous “Tulsi” look. Deepak Malvankar is there, explaining a scene to her.

Smriti wrote that the story on screen comes from an artist’s hard work. But the feeling, she added, comes from cinematographers like Deepak Malvankar. She believes he makes every scene special. He truly brings stories to life for the audience.
It might seem strange to compare a TV show to a huge international movie. Yet, Smriti thinks that’s the real magic of art. When you create something with love and dedication, the size of the project doesn’t matter. She feels that passion makes everything special, whether it’s a daily TV drama or a high-speed Formula 1 film. In “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2,” other actors besides Smriti included Rohit Suchanti, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Shakti Anand, Kamalika Guha Thakurta, Ketki Dave, Ankit Bhatia, and Barkha Bisht.
