A tragic incident took place in the important city of Jodhpur in the Indian state of Rajasthan, where several cylinders exploded with terrible explosions during the procession.
According to Indian media, 4 people died in the accident, while dozens are injured, some of whom are said to be in serious condition.
The accident happened when the guests were being entertained and dishes were being prepared for them when suddenly a cylinder exploded, after which the cylinders there exploded one after the other with loud explosions.
The bursting cylinders ignited a fire that engulfed bystanders. The venue decorated for the guests also caught fire and dozens of people got burnt.
The police say that the number of injured is 60, some of them are in serious condition, while 4 people have died so far.
Taking notice of the incident, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directed the authorities to take necessary steps and also ordered to provide the best medical aid to the injured.
