Six people, including a gunman, were killed in a shooting in the British town of Playmeth.
According to foreign media, the gunman was killed in a shootout with the police, security agencies have cordoned off the area.
Several injured in the shooting are being treated. Among the dead was a 10-year-old boy.
Police say the incident is not being treated as terrorism.
British Home Secretary Priti Patel tweeted: “What happened at Playmeth is regrettable and my condolences go out to the victims.”
Playmeth is located in the south west of the United Kingdom and is home to one of the largest naval bases in the United Kingdom. It is about 5 hours from the capital London.
