Six days of preseason before the start of the 2023 academic year

The dates for the 2023 MotoGP pre-season tests are now official and the number of days for testing is significantly reduced compared to those used to prepare for the 2022 course. It will go from 9 to 6 days, something that is to the liking of the drivers and teams, who prefer more GGPP (there will be 21) than training sessions.

The first scheduled day is November 8, at the Ricardo Tormo in Cheste, two days after the end of the 2022 season. That appointment will be followed by the three-day event in Sepang (from February 10 to 12) and the two days in Portimao (March 11 to 12). This last test will take place on the same stage where the MotoGP World Championship will start for the first time, two weeks later, on Sunday March 26.
