Where are the four key commanders responsible for bringing the current situation in Afghanistan to the fore and making real decisions for the Afghan Taliban? This is a question that nobody asks.
Taliban Supreme Commanders Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada, Mullah Yaqub and Sirajuddin Haqqani are currently missing.
Afghanistan’s future rests in the hands of three leaders and a fourth major figure, Mullah Baradar. Mullah Hebatullah is considered the spiritual leader of the entire movement. Mullah Baradar’s political leader, Sirajuddin Haqqani, is considered the deputy leader and head of the movement, and Mullah Yaqub, the son of the late Mullah Omar, is considered the head of the army.
The media has focused on a few other Afghan leaders, including Abdul Rashid Dostum, Atta Muhammad Noor, President Ashraf Ghani and his Vice President, Amrullah Saleh, who have fled Tajikistan.
On the other hand, Tajik and Hazara community leaders from northern Afghanistan have arrived in Pakistan on a special flight.
Among those arriving in Pakistan from Kabul were Afghan National Assembly Speaker Mir Rehman Rahmani and Salahuddin Rabbani, son of former Afghan President Burhanuddin Rabbani, Tajik leader and former Interior Minister Younis Qanuni, and two brothers of the former Afghan commander. Ahmad Shah Masood, Ahmad Zia Masood and Ahmad Wali Masood.
Similarly, two important leaders of the Hazara community, Ustad Mohaqiq and Karim Khalili, also came to Pakistan from Kabul. Apart from them, Khalid Noor, son of former Balkh Governor Sardar Ata Noor, also came to Pakistan from Kabul.
At the Islamabad airport, the President of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, and the Special Representative for Afghanistan, Muhammad Sadiq, received the Afghan political delegation.
According to Mohammad Sadiq, issues of mutual concern will be discussed during the visit of the Afghan political leaders.
It should be noted that after the Taliban siege of Kabul, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Vice President Amrullah Saleh have left Afghanistan.
