Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi recently recounted a humorous fan encounter. He shared the story during a recent interaction.
The incident occurred in Kerala, where a fan mistook Chaturvedi for stand-up comedian Samay Raina. Chaturvedi was reportedly returning from the region.
The fan approached him, stating, “I am a very big fan of yours and I have seen all your shows.” Chaturvedi felt excited and thanked the individual.
The fan then requested a selfie, which Chaturvedi agreed to. During their interaction, the fan asked why “his show” had stopped.
Chaturvedi initially believed the fan was referring to his series ‘Inside Edge 3’. The fan further added that the show was “very good and funny.”
This comment confused the actor, as ‘Inside Edge’ is a dramatic series, not a comedy. He thought the fan might just have unusual taste.
Later, Chaturvedi overheard the fan speaking to a friend. The fan pointed at Chaturvedi and said, “Brother, Samay Raina.”
This revelation reportedly left the actor stunned.
On the professional front, Chaturvedi is preparing for his upcoming film, ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’. The movie is slated for release on February 20, 2026.
Mrunal Thakur will co-star alongside Chaturvedi. Ravi Udyawar is directing the project.
Zee Studios and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production banner are behind the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Bansal, and Bharat Singh Ranga are listed as producers.
