Shuhei Yoshida Praises Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yotei, Played Multiple Versions in Development

Shuhei Yoshida, former president of SIE Worldwide Studios, has tried out multiple versions of Ghost of Yotei. He’s impressed with Sucker Punch’s work, saying their games usually feel spot on. In an interview with Easy Allies, Yoshida praised Sucker Punch’s ability to get their games playable early on, with minimal bugs. He noted that most games from Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch have that “yes” feeling to them.

When visiting Sucker Punch, the producers always invite him to test out their latest build of Ghost of Yotei. Yoshida said he enjoys playing the game, even when it’s not fully polished. He recalled, “Whenever I visit the studio, the producer invites me to play Ghost of Yotei, which is still in development, and asks for my feedback. After playing, I always feel good about the game.”
