Shubman Gill’s Sister Shahnil Trolled, Women’s Commission Demands Strict Action

The Delhi Women’s Commission has taken a tough stance on the social media post abusing the sister of cricketer Shubman Gill. On Wednesday, the Delhi Women’s Commission issued a notice to the Delhi Police. In this notice, an application has been made to register a FIR. Along with this, the Delhi Women’s Commission has also requested the Delhi Police to submit a detailed report of the measures taken before May 26. In fact, Shubman Gill played a brilliant century for Gujarat Titans in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB was left out of the tournament after the loss to Gujarat Titans. After which, Shubman Gill’s sister, Shahnil Gill, was heavily trolled on social media.

On Monday, the head of the Delhi Women’s Commission, Swati Maliwal, demanded strict measures against those who troll Gill’s sister on social media. She said action will be taken against those who abused the Indian batsman’s sister. Alongside this, she wrote that ‘It’s so embarrassing to see trollers abusing #ShubhmanGill’s sister just because the team they follow lost a game. We had previously initiated actions against those who abused the daughter of #ViratKohli.

The head of the Delhi Women’s Commission, Swati Maliwal, said action will also be taken against all those who misbehaved with Gill’s sister. This will not be tolerated… Significantly, in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century. In this match Shubman Gill played an innings of 104 runs off 52 balls. He hit 5 fours and 8 sixes in his innings. At the same time in this match, Gujarat Titans defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore.
