Shots fired outside Islamabad High Court as Imran Khan exited

According to the report, there was tension outside the Islamabad High Court even before Imran Khan left the building. After the firing, the police fired tear shells and brought the situation under control. Meanwhile, a car caught fire.

Meanwhile, Islamabad High Court said that Imran Khan cannot be arrested in any case till May 17. On Friday, the Division Bench of the High Court said this while ordering PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan’s 2-week bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

Earlier, Imran Khan appeared in the Islamabad High Court at around 11:30 am local time today. He reached the Islamabad High Court under tight security.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan called the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan illegal. At the same time, the Supreme Court ordered Imran to appear before the Islamabad High Court on Friday.

NAB members arrested Imran Khan from Islamabad High Court premises last Tuesday. They took the help of Rangers members in this. Imran’s arrest sparked violent protests across Pakistan. At least eight people were killed.
