Shopify Rebellion advanced to the VALORANT Game Changers Grand Final in Seoul, positioning the American team to secure a historic third consecutive world championship against Brazil’s Team Liquid.
The reigning two-time champions defeated Brazilian squad MIBR 3-1 in the lower bracket final on Saturday, eliminating them from the global inclusive tournament. This victory prevented an all-Brazilian grand final, as Team Liquid Brazil had already secured its spot.
Shopify Rebellion took the first map, Pearl, with a 13-11 score. MIBR responded on Split, evening the series with a decisive 13-6 win.
However, Shopify Rebellion regained control, winning Corrode 13-7 and closing out the series on Abyss with a 13-11 victory.
MIBR, which underwent a mid-year reformulation and qualified through a Last Chance Qualifier, finished the tournament in third place. The team had hoped to avenge its 2024 runner-up finish against Shopify Rebellion.
The grand final between Shopify Rebellion and Team Liquid Brazil is scheduled for early Sunday, November 30. The match will determine whether Shopify Rebellion builds its dynasty with a third world title or if Team Liquid Brazil claims the first-ever Brazilian world championship in the event.
