Shopify continues with its commitment to boost the ecommerce businesses of those who sell on its platform. The latest novelty is its first Artificial Intelligence digital assistant designed for commerce called Sidekick. It was revealed by Tobi Lütke, CEO and founder of Shopify, through a video posted on his personal Twitter account.
What does Sidekick allow?
Sidekick enables businesses to use AI to increase their productivity, improve workflows, make smarter decisions, and spend less time on operational tasks and more time growing their business. Thus, you can understand and interpret questions or prompts, so that users can generate new ideas or perform tasks using ordinary language. Businesses can ask clarifying questions or ask Sidekick shorten, rewrite or give your opinion about it.
As Tobi Lütke mentions in the video, «I’ve been in the tech industry since the mid-1990s. I have never seen anything like AI. This will be an incredible boom for everything that has to do with entrepreneurship.”
