According to a foreign website, a circular issued by the General Administration of Kuwaiti Civil Aviation yesterday explained the decisions to reduce travel restrictions announced by the Council of Ministers last Monday.

According to the circular, from next Sunday, non-vaccinated people will be allowed to enter the country only to Kuwaitis and not foreigners.

The circular states that only non-vaccinated citizens will be allowed to enter the country who will present a negative PCR test certificate which should not be more than one hour after boarding the ship but it will be applicable for 16 years. Not less than children.

An official airport source revealed that only foreigners who have received the full immunization vaccine (those who received a dose of the approved vaccine in Kuwait or who had been vaccinated nine months ago will be allowed to enter the country). The second dose was received).

The source explained that foreigners receiving the vaccine must bring a negative PCR test report well in advance of boarding the plane and a seven-day home quarantine is required upon their arrival. This will end with a PCR test that will confirm the person’s corona free.

The circular said the following orders would be implemented from Sunday, February 20, on the instructions of health officials.

Sources confirmed that the decisions of the Council of Ministers on travel requirements are only for Kuwaiti nationals, while foreigners are subject to previously issued travel procedures, but no decision has yet been made on diplomats.
