Dipika herself first shared her cancer diagnosis. She posted about it on Instagram. She explained that she felt pain in her upper belly. Doctors found a tumor the size of a tennis ball in her liver. Tests showed it was Stage 2 cancer. This news deeply affected her many fans.
Shoaib Ibrahim Shares More Details
Shoaib explained their thoughts after the surgery. He said they hoped removing the tumor would fix everything. He confirmed that no cancer cells are currently in her body. However, biopsy and PET scan reports painted a more serious picture. The tumor was labeled Grade 3. This means it was very aggressive. It also means there’s a real chance it could come back.
Ongoing Treatment Ahead
After the operation, doctors gave Dipika medicine. Shoaib mentioned that if any cancer cells appear later, her medication dose will increase. She might even need medicine through an IV.
