Shilpa Shetty Reveals Tabu’s Nickname Timpu For Her 54th Birthday

Bollywood actress Tabu is celebrating her 54th birthday today. Industry friends are marking the occasion with heartfelt social media posts.

Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared a special message for her longtime friend. She also revealed Tabu’s affectionate nickname.

She referred to Tabu as "Timpu" in her birthday wishes. Shetty Kundra posted a video on Instagram. The video featured both actresses laughing, set to the trending song "Saare Bolo Happy Birthday."

Shetty and Tabu have a history of working together. They co-starred in the 1996 action film Himmat. The film also featured Sunny Deol, Naseeruddin Shah, and Gulshan Grover. Tabu played Anju, while Shetty had a special appearance. They reunited for the 2000 crime drama Tarkieb. That movie included actors like Nana Patekar and Milind Soman.

Veteran actor Jackie Shroff also extended birthday greetings to Tabu. He shared a video on his Instagram Story. The video showcased various pictures of Tabu. It was set to the song "Boondon Se Baatein" from a 1999 film. Shroff tagged Tabu in his story, adding "#happybirthday @tabutiful."

Tabu has had a busy year with two releases in 2024. These include Crew and Aurang Mein Kahan Dum Tha, both critically acclaimed for her performances. She is set to appear next in the horror film Bhoot Bangla. This upcoming project will see her co-starring with Akshay Kumar, under the direction of Priyadarshan.
