Shikhar Dhawan Invests in Luxury Flat in Gurugram for Rs 68.89 Crore

Shikhar Dhawan, the former Indian cricketer, has made a big investment in real estate. He bought a luxurious apartment in Gurugram for a whopping 68.89 crore rupees. The apartment, spanning 6,040 square feet, is located on Golf Course Road. This purchase includes a staggering 65.61 crore rupees for the flat itself, plus an additional 3.28 crore rupees in stamp duty.

The apartment is part of DLF’s ‘The Camellias’ project in Sector 54, Gurugram. Documents show the transaction took place on February 4, 2025. Dhawan’s new home comes with parking space for five cars. He paid 1.08 lakh rupees per square foot for this luxury apartment. DLF claims to have sold 173 ultra-luxury apartments in ‘The Camellias’ project so far.

Life After Cricket

Dhawan retired from all formats of cricket in August last year. He has also quit the Indian Premier League (IPL). Lately, he’s been spotted with his girlfriend, Sophia Choudry. The couple is often in the news on social media. Reports say Dhawan bought a house in Australia for around 7.5 lakh US dollars back in 2015. He also owns a luxurious home in Delhi, valued at around 5 crore rupees.

Dhawan played 269 international matches, scoring 10,867 runs. He’s known for his 24 centuries and 55 half-centuries. Nicknamed ‘Gabbar’, Dhawan has had a successful career. His cricketing prowess has earned him a lot of fans worldwide. Now, it seems he’s making smart investments for his future.
