This collaboration will provide European customers with a comprehensive ‘plug-and-play’ solution for unattended payment terminals, streamlining transaction management and simplifying payment integration for electric vehicle charging stations.
Unattended payment terminals offer customers greater convenience, allowing them to make purchases at any time. Payter chose Shift4 for its robust procurement capabilities, and through this partnership, Shift4 will act as an intermediary between customers and banks, ensuring secure and efficient transactions within the Payter system.
Shift4’s ability to certify next-generation payment devices quickly allows Payter clients to incorporate new merchants and operate with greater agility. While other certification processes can take up to a year, Shift4 completes them in just six to eight weeks through its certification lab.
Rapid Activation and Payment Acceptance
Payter’s integration with Shift4 enables unique payment acceptance capabilities. This partnership allows Payter to set up a merchant in just 30 minutes, including identity verification, risk analysis, and system configuration. In contrast, traditional acquirers or banks can take weeks to complete these procedures.
