The beta of Shibarium is launching “soon,” revealed a top Shiba Inu developer.

In a recent tweet, a top developer from Shiba Inu (SHIB) has finally revealed the necessary steps for the launch of Shibarium. The developer, who goes by the name of ‘Shib Throphias’, noted that the first step towards launching the beta version of Shibarium is to update the official Shiba Inu website. He wrote:
The first goal is to update our main website. That was much needed. This is our first step towards the launch of the Shibarium beta.
According to Trophias, the Shiba Inu development team will launch the updated website in phases. The official Shiba Inu team member added the following:
The entire website is not launched at once. There will be a phased rollout. We will also try to make it as smooth as possible.
His recent comments about Shibarium come hours after the official Shiba Inu’s Twitter account revealed that the countdown to a new website had begun.

Members of the Shiba Inu community continue to respond positively to the Shibarium launch update. Some SHIB enthusiasts described the new Shibarium update as an early Christmas present.

It is worth noting that the community is anticipating the launch of Shibarium, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling platform. According to MILKSHAKE, an official member of the growth team, Shibarium will match Polygon in terms of scalability, speed and security. MILKSHAKE also previously revealed that the upcoming L2 network would become a hub for decentralized applications (dApps). Also, all Shiba Inu products, including ShibaSwap, SHIB, Shiboshi, etc., will migrate to the network once it goes live.
With all these numerous features of Shibarium highlighted, the community has been anticipating the official launch date of the network. However, the team has declined to disclose the exact date when Shibarium will be rolled out. Instead of giving a specific date, the team continued to share mysterious tweets hinting at Shibarium’s launch.
Earlier this month, Trophias noted on Twitter that the development team had made significant progress in launching an untitled project. Trophias said the team has finalized the V1 design and “finalized the content.” The top Shiba Inu developer added that the unnamed project would be launched in stages. SHIB enthusiasts think the update is for Shibarium. However, Trophias said the update could be for the entire ecosystem, not just the upcoming L2 network.
