She-Hulk: Why is the Abomination in his human form?

The first trailer for the series Disney+ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law reveals that Emil BlonskyTim Roth appears in his human form and not as the Abomination, as he was known to be in The Incredible Hulk and Shang-Chi. In the Hulk of 2008, the special forces agent received a new version of the super soldier serum as well as the blood of Bruce Banner. The injections transformed Emil in Abomination out of control, and he made no further appearances in his human form in the mcu until she hulk.

In the comics, Blonsky was unable to transform into his human form after becoming theAbomination. Thus, it therefore raises many questions about its presence in the trailer of the series Disney+. It could mean thatEmil Blonsky now gains the ability to transform from his human to monstrous form, just like Bruce Banner and Jennifer Walters should manage to make. It’s unclear exactly when the series takes place relative to the timeline of the mcubut several details suggest that it occurs before Avengers: Endgame – since Emil Blonsky is still in custody, as he was at the end of The Incredible Hulk as he appeared at large in Shang Chi. The arm of bruce does not yet have the wound he received in Endgame which therefore validates that the events take place before the film. In terms of chronology, we are therefore between Shang Chi and Endgame.

It’s highly likely that Bruce and Jennifer’s study of the latter’s transformation into She-Hulk could lead both characters to understand Emil Blonsky and perhaps come to grips with the character’s transformation from human to Abomination.
