Shakib will not play in franchise leagues like IPL and PSL but will focus solely on international cricket

Bangladesh’s great all-rounder and captain Shakib Al Hasan will no longer be seen in T20 leagues like IPL and PSL. He has decided not to play much franchise cricket. Now he will continue to focus solely on international cricket. He said that himself.

Shakib said, “I had not given my name for IPL.” Then when my manager sent my name for PSL, I asked him to withdraw my name from that league too. Now my name isn’t even in the PSL anymore. My plan is to now devote all my time to the national team.

Shakib says, “I am currently playing all three formats of cricket.” I hope to continue this. Although no one knows the future. I don’t know what was written for you. But right now my wish is to continue playing cricket for a long time.

Shakib Al Hasan was a complete flop at the 2023 World Cup. Apart from captaincy, he failed to perform particularly well in bowling and batting. Recently he has also been criticized.

Shakib is currently battling injuries. This is the reason why he was not in the team in the Test series against New Zealand after the World Cup. He was selected in the squad for the T20 and ODI series on the New Zealand tour but now there is a chance that he could be left out of these two series too. He has not yet fully recovered from the injury and the medical team has advised him not to play the game and focus on rehabilitation.
