Shahrukh Khan’s most anticipated film ‘Jawan’ is set for release on September 7th. The release of the trailer has increased fans’ anticipation and people are now eagerly awaiting the film. It is said that “Jawan” will break the records of all previous films by Shah Rukh Khan. And now there’s bad news for the film.
Already the very next day of the film’s release, several restrictions were imposed in the country’s capital, Delhi, for three days (September 8-10) due to the G20 summit. Government and private offices will remain closed during this time. However, essential services remain in place. In such a situation, some movie theaters also remain closed and it is said that this can have a big impact on the revenue of Jawan.
Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Managing Director of PVR-INOX Ltd, told PTI that four PVR theaters in central Delhi, PVR Plaza, Rivoli, Odeon and ECX Chanakyapuri remain closed due to the restrictions imposed. However, he says it won’t have a major impact on the film as they are all single-screen cinemas with around 2,000 seats.
Significantly, the pre-sale for Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Jawan’ is continuing and the film is doing well in it. “Jawan” has achieved a total turnover of Rs.21.14 crore by selling more than 7 lakh tickets in three days. A report by Koimoi claims that “Jawan” will collect 70 crores on the first day. In addition, the film will break the records of Pathan and Gadar 2. Please let us know that the film “Jawan” will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu three languages.
