Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ Title: Director Anand Cryptic on Reveal Date

Director Siddharth Anand has offered fresh insights into the highly anticipated title reveal for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, King. The update emerged during a recent "Ask SRK" session on social media, where fans pressed for details.

Speculation has been rife regarding the film’s official announcement, with many hoping for a reveal coinciding with Khan’s birthday. The superstar engaged directly with Anand about the mounting fan anticipation.

Khan took to social media to playfully urge Anand to release some information, stating, "Siddharth Anand, show something finally! Fans and I are both tired of playing the guessing game… what are you teasing with ‘Remember’…’There is..’?"

Anand responded to Khan’s query with a similarly teasing tone. He replied, “Hahaha. Sir… ‘Remember’ – Good things take time. ‘There is’ – work still going on for the Title Reveal of our film.”

The director further added a cryptic proverb, “You know what they say Sir, ‘A king comes when he wants, not when he should.'”

Khan countered Anand’s playful evasiveness, noting, “You have become more and more like me. Giving cryptic answers to straight forward questions.” He then called upon fans, “Fans!!! Go after him….Humla!!! At least the Title Reveal….just that much please.”

Industry buzz continues to suggest that the film’s official announcement, or at least its title reveal, could coincide with Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday on November 2nd.

*King* is set to feature a significant ensemble cast alongside Khan. Reported names include his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, and Anil Kapoor.
