Actor Akshay Oberoi has officially confirmed his role in the highly anticipated film “King.” The action movie stars Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan.
Oberoi’s inclusion adds another prominent name to the film’s ensemble cast. Reports circulating for days about his involvement have now been officially confirmed by the actor.
“King” marks the first time Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan will share the screen. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously helmed Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster “Pathaan.”
The star-studded cast also includes Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, and Abhishek Bachchan in key roles. The film is currently slated for a theatrical release in 2026.
Akshay Oberoi’s recent film credits include “Fighter” and “Gurgaon.” He also appeared in several web series.
Oberoi was last seen in the film “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.” Besides “King,” he is set to feature in superstar Yash’s upcoming film, “Toxic.”
