Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday is being celebrated by fans worldwide today. However, a unique tradition in Delhi sees many flocking to a specific cemetery. Devotees are visiting the graves of his late parents, Taj Mohammed Khan and Latif Fatima Khan, located in the Jadid Ahle Islam Cemetery near Delhi Gate, a central district in the city.
Fans gather to express gratitude, thanking his parents for bringing such a significant star into the world. The graves of Taj Mohammed Khan and Latif Fatima Khan lie side-by-side, serving as a poignant pilgrimage site.

The superstar himself last visited the cemetery in 2022, according to Vinod, a cemetery caretaker cited by News18. Currently, Khan’s aunt is responsible for the upkeep of the graves. The graves are notably well-maintained, standing out amongst others in the cemetery.
Taj Mohammed Khan, Shah Rukh’s father, was a freedom fighter born in Peshawar. He was born on October 27, 1927, and passed away on September 19, 1980.
Latif Fatima Khan, his mother, served as a magistrate. She was known to be close to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Her birth date was July 1, 1941, and she died on April 15, 1991.
