Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar: ‘Dher Saara Pyaar’ Gang Celebrates Diwali, Award

Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar recently hosted a star-studded Diwali celebration. The festive gathering also honored Tannishtha Chatterjee for her international award win.

The couple welcomed their “Dher Saara Pyaar” (Lots of Love) gang. This included prominent figures like Vidya Balan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Dia Mirza, Richa Chadha, and Ali Fazal.

A highlight of the evening was celebrating Tannishtha Chatterjee’s Mary Claire Visionary Director award. She received this honor at the Busan International Film Festival for her film, ‘Full Plate’.

Shabana Azmi shared a group photograph from the event on her social media. She extended Diwali wishes from the “Dher Saara Pyaar” gang.

Her caption specifically lauded “Tiger Tan,” referring to Tannishtha Chatterjee’s “courage and fantastic Busan award.” She also noted the absence of Urmila Matondkar and Sandhya Mridul.
