Several Russian regions suffer from drone attacks

Moscow (BLAZETRENDS).- Two unmanned devices have fallen in the last hours on a highway in the Kaluga region, neighboring Moscow.

According to the local governor, Vladislav Shapsha, the drones did not explode after the crash, although the affected road has been closed and the authorities diverted traffic to other roads.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Belgorod region, Viacheslav Gladkov, reported on Monday the fall of an explosive launched from a drone on a local energy facility.

“In the Belgorod region, an energy facility is burning. the preliminary cause of the fire is a bomb dropped from a drone. No injuries,” Gladkov wrote on Telegram.

The Azov battalion

Also the authorities of the Kursk region, bordering Ukraine, denounced the “increase in the activities of Ukrainian drones” in the last week.

One of those devices, according to Governor Román Starovoit, was intercepted yesterday by means of Russian radio electronic warfare.

Starovoit specified that the drone belonged to the nationalist Azov battalion.
