A protest has resulted in road cycling testing being halted at the World Cycling Championships, which are being held in Scotland. The protesters had taped their hands to the Scottish road, Prevention of the passage of official competition vehicles.
In the Carron Valley area, the escape had to be stopped 191 kilometers from the target because of the demonstrators. The race leader had to wait for the peloton, which was more than 8 minutes away. After the peloton arrived, the race was neutralized for nearly an hour. The police then cleared the area and ensured the safety of the test participants.
