Sergio García qualifies for the US Open

Sergio García will be present at the US Open de Golf, which will be held from June 15 to 18 at the Los Angeles Country Club of the Californian city, in which it will be his twenty-fourth appearance in the tournament.

García, who this week appears in position 206 in the World Golf Ranking after leaving the PGA circuit and joining the LIV Golf Tour, had to play the previous tournament held this Monday at the Northwood Club and Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas. which brought together 120 players and distributed 8 places for the final draw of the tournament.

A tournament in which Sergio García achieved his classification after finishing in the top eight after the two rounds and add a total of 132 strokes, nine under par, after finishing the two rounds with 66 strokes each.

Along with Sergio García, the Americans Carson Young (who won with 125 strokes), Austin Eckroat (130), Brent Grant (131) and Paul Haley (132, the same as García), the Canadian Roger Sloan (also with 132) and the Americans Jacob Solomon and Hank Lebiodawho achieved the two remaining places in the tiebreaker.
