Brooklin Beckham has chosen to partner with the construction champion team, Jaguar, for his adventure in the Evo Sessions of Formula E. Meanwhile, Sergio Agüero, the former player of Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester City, among others, will pilot the Porsche 9xx Gen3 Evo on the day of the VIPS test, to be held on March 5 and 6 in Miami. Agüero will share the track with other personalities from the world of sports and show in an innovative event of the Formula E.
Agüero will have the personal advice of Pascal Wehrlein, the current Formula E World Champion, who will be his ‘coach’ during the next month. The Kun has already started his task, with his first images showing him in the Weissach factory, where his seat has been customized, and he has taken his first steps as a ‘pilot’ of the German brand.
Agüero expressed his excitement about the opportunity, saying, “This is crazy: from footballer to pilot in one of the fastest racing cars in the world.” He also acknowledged the iconic legacy of the Porsche brand, stating, “All children know Porsche. The brand represents an iconic legacy, especially in motoring. I want to learn as much as possible and represent the team in the best way when we get to Miami.”
Handling a car like the Formula E of season 11, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds and exceeds 320 km/h of maximum speed, will not be simple for Agüero or the rest of his ‘opponents’. Florian Modlinger, Porsche’s competition director in Formula E, noted, “99x Electric is one of the best cars in the world. To drive it, you need a lot of respect and meticulous preparation. The project is a little crazy but also exciting and definitely innovative.”
