A 19-year-old Serbian tourist fell to her death while parasailing over the Adriatic Sea in Montenegro. Tijana Radonjic was 50 meters in the air when she suddenly panicked and unbuckled her safety harness.
The incident happened in the coastal town of Budva. Radonjic was on vacation with her aunt. She was a student.
A camera on the parasail captured the moment Radonjic started panicking. She was seen struggling with her harness before falling into the sea.
The owner of the parasailing company said Radonjic seemed fine before the incident. She was even waving at her friends on the beach.
Radonjic’s family says she didn’t intend to harm herself. They believe she had a panic attack.
Local authorities are investigating the incident. They are checking the safety measures of the parasailing company.
