Cortez’s move to Sentinels marks his fourth professional team since beginning his career in November 2022 with TropiCaos. He previously played for RED Canids and spent the entire 2025 season with MIBR.
During his tenure with MIBR in 2025, Cortez helped secure third-place finishes in both the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas Stage 1 and Americas Kickoff tournaments. The team also placed fifth in the Champions event that year.
Cortez becomes the third Brazilian professional to represent Sentinels in the tactical first-person shooter. Gustavo “sacy” Rossi and Bryan “PancAda” Luna were the first two, announced in 2023.
Rossi has since retired from competitive play. Luna currently competes for the esports organization LOUD.
The roster changes were officially announced on Saturday, November 1.
