Sendinblue Acquires Captain Wallet Furthering Its Retail Ambitions

sendinblue continues its growth strategy with the acquisition of Captain Walleta pioneering startup and leader in marketing of Mobile Wallet. Sendinblue thus takes a new step in its expansion, completing its offer with a new customer loyalty and retention channel to specifically meet the needs of retailers and large accounts.

A great tool to attract and retain customers

Captain Wallet offers brands the option to digitize their physical marketing materials to transform them into dynamic communication channels and better capture the attention of their audiences. For this, the solution uses the native applications Apple Wallet and Google Wallet in which it is possible to have loyalty cards, offers, membership cards, business cards and even gift cards in digital format and accessible in a few clicks. Once added to the mobile wallet, the brand can update the card content and send automatic push notifications through the Captain Wallet platform.

These push notifications can be automated, scheduled and even geo-located. In addition, each digital card in mobile wallets is personalized, which allows brands to inform all or part of their customers of new offers in progress. Captain Wallet thus responds to the need for brands to strengthen their relationships with customers on mobile phones, which continue to be the most used device.

Therefore, Captain Wallet customers will be able to continue to purchase the solution regardless of the other solutions offered by Sendinblue, whatever their CRM tool.

The acquisition of Captain Wallet also allows Sendinblue to strengthen its presence with major brands and key retailers. Currently, nearly 200 companies and distribution chains, such as Scalpers, Legálitas, Goiko, General Óptica, Yves Rocher, Lacoste, Decathlon, Jacadi, Etam, Intersport, Courir, Aigle, Guerlain, Sephora, McDonald’s, and Carrefour, trust in Captain Wallet.

For its part, Captain Wallet will benefit from Sendinblue’s international coverage and thus continue its geographical expansion, notably in the United States and Germany.
