Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Afridi surprised everyone by taking 4 wickets in an over in T20 Blast. Playing for Nottinghamshire, Shaheen took four wickets in the first over himself. Now, former Indian starter Akash Chopra has praised Shaheen Afridi. Shaheen did this feat last Friday.

Akash Chopra said that some of Shaheen’s balls were unplayable at all. He had the courage to swing and bowl full at high speed. The former Indian player tweeted: “Yesterday Shaheen took 4 wickets in first innings change…some balls were unplayable. Swing with great speed… and the courage to throw so full.”

In his over, Shaheen made the opposing team, namely Alex Davis (0), Chris Benjamin (0), Dan Mausley (1) and Warwickshire’s Ed Bernard (0), his victims. Shaheen took the first wicket through LBW. Apart from this, a wicket went through a catch on the fifth ball. At the same time, the Pakistani bowler bowled out the two remaining batsmen and showed them the way to the pavilion. Shaheen bowled the first ball of the over wide, which trailed by four.

Shaheen looks in good contact in T20 Blast. He has played 13 matches so far, in which he has taken 20 wickets at an average of 21.60 while bowling.
