Seedtag, a Spanish startup based in Madrid, has raised a total of $ 40 million in a round of Series B financing with the aim of expanding to the US market and continuing to improve and innovate its Contextual Intelligence technology.
The round has been carried out hand in hand with Oakley Capital, although Adara Ventures and All Iron Ventures have also been present. In addition, this round has allowed an Idealista shareholder to enter the company.
“An increasing focus on consumer privacy and brand safety is driving the growth of contextual advertising, and we believe Seedtag is well positioned to take advantage of this exciting opportunity thanks to a combination of best-in-class technology, strong business relationships and impressive team management ”, it states Peter Dubens of Oakley Capital.
This round of series B financing is a continuation of the round that Seedtag carried out in 2017, although this was series A. It managed to raise a total of 5.2 million dollars. Therefore, the company has obtained a total of $ 45.2 million, from its first round to the present.
