The Rica Foundation held this Thursday the second edition of the Dr. Julio A. Brache Arzeno Sustainability Award.
The distinction has the objective of recognizing non-profit institutions that through their work contribute to raise living conditions from Dominican Republic.
The recognitions were made by lines: Education, Environment and Health.
The Salesian Technical Agronomic Institute (Iatesa) was awarded in Education, and in Environment the National Business Support Network for Environmental Protection (Ecored).
While, in Health, the Dr. Juan Manuel Taveras Foundation was recognized.
Each of these institutions received around RD$1 million. Near 50 entities applied for this award.
