The latest celebrity drama is hitting close to home for actor Scott Wolf. His estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, recently spilled their private conversations all over social media. She shared text messages that seem to show Scott claiming one of their children is "terrified" of her. That’s a serious accusation for any family, especially one in the public eye.
On Thursday, August 21, Kelley, who is 48, posted screenshots of these texts to her Instagram stories. The messages she sent to a contact named "Scott" began with a clear statement. "I’m going to Kimball [sic]," she wrote. "I will see my children! Or I will call the police!"
She kept pressing, asking, "What time and where?" Kelley added, "You can be there, but they are coming with me. Tonight!" She ended that part with a stern warning. "Do you hear me? You will never see me again. And you will never hurt a woman or a child again. Please!" Kelley also captioned her shared texts with a simple message: "Listen to a mother. Obvious. Don’t be silly, sir."
The Real World: New Orleans alum didn’t stop there. She later posted another screenshot. This one seemed to reveal her ex’s response. The reply, presumably from 57-year-old Scott, was direct. "I’m sorry, it’s better if you stay away from them and me," the message read. "Don’t come to the house."
A second message from Scott was even more urgent. "I beg you to leave them alone," it pleaded. "You are torturing them. Miller called me crying because of what you told him. He is terrified of the things you said you would do. Please. Leave them alone."
Kelley’s reply was full of sharp remarks. "Yes, sir. My apologies, kind master," she wrote, clearly being sarcastic. "How disgusting. You’re losing your way, boy… well… I tried to save you… from yourself, from suicide and depression, but well… I’m their mother, brother. So I’ll sit 150 meters away. Smoking. Waiting. For a coward to grow up!"

Next to this screenshot, Kelley added another personal comment. "Well, wow… I guess I’ll go to bed with a cowboy. Gosh."
Us Weekly reached out to Scott’s representative for comment on these recent events. Scott and Kelley have three children together: sons Jackson, 16, and Miller, 12, and daughter Lucy, 11.
Legal Battles and Accusations
This public family drama follows some tough legal steps. Scott filed for divorce from Kelley in June, ending 21 years of marriage. That same month, the Party of Five actor also got a temporary restraining order against his separated wife. A judge told Kelley not to contact Scott or their children. This order stays in place until a court hearing scheduled for a later date. The court document claimed Kelley had "engaged in an escalating pattern of behavior that poses a substantial threat of immediate and irreparable harm to the parties’ minor children." This sounds incredibly serious.
Adding to the legal troubles, Us Weekly reported on Wednesday, August 20, that Kelley’s divorce lawyer, Farrah Spencer, had dropped her. This happened after Scott accused his estranged wife of making "disturbing and false allegations" against him. A judge in Utah, handling the divorce case, approved Spencer’s request to stop representing Kelley earlier this week. The judge ruled that all future legal papers, like lawsuits, motions, and notices, must go straight to Kelley’s personal email address.
This whole situation became even more complex last week. In a statement to People on Friday, August 15, Scott claimed he learned Kelley was planning to publicly accuse him of false things. The actor said these claims included "psychological abuse, child abuse, child endangerment, and passport theft." Scott told People he decided to speak up. "She detailed her plans to ‘make allegations’ about me," he explained. He added that Kelley "also admitted, ‘I don’t think they’re true.’" Scott believed she was doing this to gain an advantage. She sees it as a "battle" in court and in public opinion, he said.
Kelley gave her own statement to People in response. "I will be very clear in saying this: I do not believe Scott [abused our children]," she stated. She spoke of great personal loss. "I have lost my career, my reputation, my children, my integrity, my honor, my devotion to my marriage." Kelley ended with a hopeful, yet heartbreaking, note. "As a mother, I have literally lost everything but my life. I have done everything strategically, and I have hope for my children."
