Schools closed in Britain, trains stopped, army alerted

Millions of UK civil servants walked off the job to demand pay and benefits increases, schools closed and trains halted, the army was put on alert.

According to ARY News, the protest of millions of civil servants, including teachers, for salaries and benefits in the UK has spread across the country. More than 5 lakh government employees have left work and come to the streets to demand their demands, due to which government affairs have come to a standstill.

5 lakh employees of 124 departments including teachers, ambulance, train, bus and border force employees participated in the protest and more than 75 protest rallies were held across the country.

85% of schools and 150 universities were partially or completely closed across the UK as millions of teachers went on strike. While train and bus drivers have gone on strike, the wheels of trains and buses have also been jammed due to which the British people are facing a difficult situation in transportation.

On the other hand, the British government has alerted the army to fulfill its responsibilities in emergency situations.

The teachers who came out on the streets for salaries and benefits say that due to low salaries, our life has become the most difficult and we are forced to take food from the food bank and due to this compulsion, we, along with millions of government employees and train drivers, are suffering. There are protests.
