Scare in Greece: the most dangerous landing in the world

The risky landing of an airplane in the greek island skiathos It went viral due to the impressive proximity of the aircraft to the people who were on the beach waiting to see it, as happens with every landing.

The Airbus with registration HA-LZT arrived from Naples to the island when he made an incredible descent that made him almost pass by the heads of the tourists who were at the end of the runway waiting to take pictures of the landing.

The company aircraft WizzAir passed literally a few meters above people and the force of the jet stream from the engines caused some they fell to the floor. The video -recorded last Thursday- quickly went viral and the questions too: some pointed out that the pilot intended to scare tourists, and others blamed the curious for being risky in a area closed to the public.

The reality is that the geographical characteristics of the island of Skiathos force the airport to have a very short runway and this results in pilots having to fly lower than when facing a longer one.

Skiathos is an island with pine forests, golden sand beaches and an important nightlife. The city is the soul of the island, with the two-story whitewashed houses with tiled roofs and small flower gardens giving the island a majestic feel.

The beach is a popular spot for aviation enthusiasts, and the island itself touts the ability to see planes landing as one of its featured attractions.
