Between the events of Saw I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico to undergo a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of obtaining a miracle cure for his cancer, only to discover that the whole operation is a scam aimed at swindling the most vulnerable. The infamous killer returns to action and turns the tables on the crooks in his signature visceral way, using ingenious and deranged traps.
The feature film will be directed by Kevin Greutertalready responsible for mediocre goods Saw 6 and Saw 3D: Final Chapter. The release is planned in the United States for the September 29, 2023.
