Saudiization deadline expires: initial operation begins

Riyadh: Following the Saudiization deadline in various sectors in Saudi Arabia, the relevant teams launched a preliminary investigation to find out the implementation.

According to the Saudi website, after the deadline set by the Saudi Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare for Saudiization in various fields of customs clearance and technical matters in the kingdom expired on Thursday, December 30, the relevant teams of the ministry launched an investigation. ۔

A statement issued by the Ministry of Manpower said that the deadline for deciding on the appointment of Saudis in various customs affairs activities, driving schools, engineering, various technical fields and legal professions has expired.

The Ministry pointed out that the deadline for Saudiization of the said sectors was given till December 30, 2021.

The purpose of the respite was to enable all the institutions in the said fields to appoint Saudis in place of the foreigners working here.

It may be recalled that the Ministry of Manpower has issued a guidebook containing the details of the decisions regarding Saudiization of the said sectors. All the institutions have been urged not to violate the decision of Saudiization.
