Saudi royal decree: release of prisoners begins on the orders of King Salman

Riyadh: On the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Passport Department has started the process of release of prisoners violating state rights.

According to the official news agency, the acting director general of the prisons department has said that Interior Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud has directed for speedy implementation of the royal decree.

He also demanded that the prisoners who are entitled to release under the royal decree be released as soon as possible.

The director general of the prisons department said that King Salman bin Abdul Aziz had ordered the release of prisoners violating state rights on humanitarian grounds.

It will have a pleasant effect on those who have been under it. With the release, prisoners and their families will be able to live happily together.

It should be noted that under the royal decree, only those prisoners would have been released who had committed some form of (sultanate right) ie violation of state powers.

Under it, those who commit planned, intentional killings will not benefit in any way. Prisoners who have violated anyone’s rights will not be able to benefit from it.
