Riyadh: The Saudi Interior Ministry has issued a warning to citizens in view of the corona virus.
According to Arab media reports, the country’s Interior Ministry has warned that heavy fines will be imposed if SOPs are violated in shopping malls and other sectors.
The Saudi Interior Ministry says violations of the precautionary measures could result in fines ranging from 10,000 riyals to 200,000 riyals.
Shopkeepers in the country are required to check the Tawakalna app before selling goods to the places, whether they have been vaccinated or not, non-vaccinated persons should not be allowed to enter the shopping malls.
The Interior Ministry said that allowing people to enter commercial establishments without masks would be considered a violation of SOPs, adding that breaking the SOPs twice could result in double the fine.
Relevant institutions also have the power to close any commercial center.
