Riyadh: Saudi officials have clarified in which cases it is possible to repay a domestic worker without the approval of the employer.
According to the Saudi website, the Saudi Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare has conditionally approved the repatriation of domestic workers.
The Ministry of Manpower has said that domestic workers can get a copy of sponsorship in the name of another employer without the approval of the current employer.
The Ministry of Manpower has also set a trial phase for domestic staff and regulations for offers from new employers.
The statement said that domestic workers and those who fall under the purview of domestic workers are allowed to transfer the sponsorship to someone else, in some cases the approval of the current employer is not required.
If the sponsor of the domestic worker has not paid the salary for 3 consecutive months or for a total of 3 months and the domestic worker is not responsible for it, then a copy of the sponsorship will be allowed.
A copy can also be redeemed if the housemaid has come from outside and her sponsor has not called her within fifteen days of receiving notice from the recruiting agency or her asylum seeker.
