Saudi government warns employees –

Riyadh: The Saudi Arabian government has issued important guidelines for retiring government employees, the violation of which could lead to severe punishment.

The Saudi Public Prosecution has said that no government employee can release any secret documents of his organization even after the termination of service.

According to Saudi media, the Public Prosecution said in a statement that if a government employee receives a confidential report due to his employment, he can make it public during his employment and he is not allowed to do so after the termination of employment.

Public Prosecution warns that disclosure of secrets is one of the serious crimes and will lead to arrest.
The Public Prosecution Office, citing classified documents, said that any document containing classified information and its disclosure would harm national security, its interests, its policy or its rights.

It is not permitted to publish a document containing such information, whether it was issued by various agencies or received from various sources.

Public Prosecution states that classified information refers to any information that a government employee receives or receives because of his or her employment and that disclosing it harms the security of the state, its interests, policies or rights.

No government employee may disclose such confidential information to the public during employment or disclose it after termination of employment.
