Saudi Arabia’s announcement to bring back the number of pilgrims to the pre-Corona level

Saudi Arabia has announced to bring back the number of pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj season to pre-coronavirus levels.

The four-day Hajj Expo started in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from January 9, in which high officials of 57 countries and representatives of 200 institutions are participating. Makkah Governor Prince Khalid Al-Faisal inaugurated the exhibition.

At the conference’s opening ceremony, Saudi Arabia announced plans to bring the number of pilgrims back to pre-pandemic levels during the upcoming Hajj season.

Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq al-Rabi’ah, while talking to journalists, said that the government will not impose any restrictions on the number of pilgrims for Hajj this year.

The Hajj Expo will help fulfill the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, with the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding, including agreements on the number of pilgrims, admission, health and procedural guidelines. .

According to the Saudi vision, the annual number of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims is to reach 30 million.
