The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has issued an important statement stating that the lifting of the travel ban imposed by Saudi Arabia will benefit foreigners, including locals, as well as the said persons.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, the lifting of the travel ban will apply not only to Saudi nationals but also to foreigners residing abroad. Immigrants can also benefit.

Ministry spokesman Talal al-Shalhoub says the countries that have recently decided to lift travel bans will benefit both Saudi nationals and expatriates.

He also clarified that the citizens of the countries from which the travel ban has been lifted will be able to come to Saudi Arabia, provided they have not yet passed through the countries included in the banned list.
