Riyadh: A list of coronavirus restrictions imposed on public places in Saudi Arabia has been released, officials have also clarified the public places.

According to the Saudi website, the Saudi Public Health Institute has updated Corona SOPs for malls, markets, malls, restaurants and cafes.

The Public Health Department has issued new guidelines stating that malls, bazaars, malls, restaurants and cafes will be accessible only to those whose trustworthiness app is written on the app.

The Public Health Department has exempted those categories whose health records are not visible in the Tawaklana app from the aforementioned ban.

For this, it will be mandatory for the customers to scan the bar code of the concerned institution regarding their health condition before entering any of the mentioned institutions.

The Department of Public Health has emphasized that bar codes should be affixed on the front doors of relevant institutions to avoid congestion and to ensure social distance, so that visitors can easily scan it.

Smaller retail outlets will be exempt from the ban.

The Public Health Department, while issuing an explanation regarding public places, said that it means open places like public parks, sidewalks, walking tracks.

Public places will not include sports fields, large venues, venues for large events, and places reserved for hosting 500 or more people.

The public health department has also called for social distance restrictions on restaurants and cafes.

It may be recalled that a statement issued by the Interior Ministry on Wednesday reminded that once again masks and all places across the country, whether closed or open, the ban on social distance is being restored from Thursday.
