Saudi Arabia: Mask ban lifted?

Riyadh: The spokesman of the Saudi Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdul Ali, has issued an important explanation regarding the ban on masks in the kingdom.

According to Arab media, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd was asked if the ban on masks for people who have been vaccinated against corona is lifted. He said that the Corona epidemic has not been completely eradicated from the world, therefore, precautionary measures, including the use of masks in public places, should be continued.

He said that the precautionary measures against corona are aimed at protecting the people from this epidemic and that is why vaccination is being carried out.

The spokesman said that taking both doses of the vaccine protects the person from the epidemic to a great extent, however, this does not mean that it is not possible to get infected with the epidemic, so take precautionary measures.

Dr Abdul Ali added that in addition to organ transplants and people with kidney disease, people over the age of 60 can also take booster doses.
